The School Improvement Programme for Everyone

The Coach the Coach programme is for anyone in a school looking to make improvements in teaching and learning and develop themselves.

We have worked with NQTs, teachers, departmental heads and senior leaders. 

No previous coaching experience is required. 

Why is it different from other coaching programmmes?

We noticed a gap between coaching skills, pedagogical content knowledge, ability to have difficult conversations and lack of sustainable improvements in other programmes.  Coach the Coach involves a micro-focus teaching approach and develops coaching skills, knowledge and experience during the programme with an expert coaching them through the process. It focuses on teacher improvements through improvements and impactful conversations.

After Modules 1 and 2 there is a round of:
  • Joint Observations
  • One-to-One Coaching between the trainer and the coach
  • One-to-One Coaching between coach and teacher
  • Agreed Action Planning
